I want to write my own handheld RPG script?

I’m not a game designer and I’m not an artist. In time I will go to school for programming and game design. I started to write my own RPG script. The way I’ve started writing it is when a scene happens I put it in [ ] brackets and I explain what’s happening and what everything looks like. Then I write the text for the words that are said. Well basically you’d be able to understand it if you were going to make it into a game.

How can I get it across to maybe a game company that would like to do a deal if I write a good enough script?

Game companies do not hire based on unsolicited scripts. They will throw it in the bin and not even read it. Seriously.

If you want to get the attention of an actual company, you need to either wait until they’re *advertising* for a job (Bioware does writer-calls sometimes, and their applications have specific rules about what sort of writing to submit) OR you need to write your own stuff and build up a reputation and a portfolio. If you’re the author of a successful game, they’re a lot more likely to pay attention to you.

There are tools out there for writers who aren’t so good at code/art to work with. Try RPG Maker. There’s a big community of people who will help you get started. Many people make good money selling RPG Maker games.

How Do I Write a Gcse Standard Outline Answer?

What is a GCSE?

The General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) is a British qualifications, taken by secondary school students at age of 14-16 in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland (in Scotland, the equivalent is the Standard Grade).

It is usually taken between these ages although some students may have the opportunity to take one or more GCSEs early.

The education systems of other British territories, such as Gibraltar and ex-British (influenced) territory South Africa, also use the qualifications as supplied by the same examination boards.

The International “version” of GCSE is IGCSE, which can be applied to the whole world and which includes some more options, such as coursework options, language options, etc. An outline is an essay plan of the material that is to be presented in an essay, dissertation etc. The customer should be able to take your outline and expand it to a great many more words using the sources, theories, issues and references included.

What is an Outline Answer?

The outline shows the structure of the work that will be written. It shows the order of the various topics that will be discussed, the relative importance of each, and the relationship between the various parts. It is acceptable to use bullet points and note form, although you must still write the number of words that the client has paid for. The most common order in which to write an outlines is to go from the general to the specific. This means you begin with a general idea and then support it with specific examples. When writing outlines, you must be careful not to use obscure sources that the customer might not be able to track down.

Note that an outline differs from a proposal, in that the outline actually includes all of the facts and answers needed to address the question. A proposal says what you are going to do – an outline answer actually does it but only in brief. It is an answer in note form, which needs ‘fleshing out’.

Quality Standard – GCSE Outline Answer

Outline answers are often written in note form and with bullet points. However, to meet the required quality standard, general guidance must be followed in relation to writing a good answer at GCSE standard. This includes using accurate punctuation where applicable, and correct spelling.

Work should be well organised and should demonstrate the writer’s ability to construct and convey meaning in written standard English, including: the use of compositional skills to develop ideas and communicate meaning to a reader; the development of a wide range of vocabulary and an effective style; the development of essential presentational skills which include accurate punctuation, correct spelling; and showing a wide variety of forms for different purposes.

Students should:

  • Present relevant information in a form that suits its purposes;
  • Ensure that spelling, punctuation and grammar are accurate, so that meaning is clear
  • Use a suitable structure and style of writing.

Sources

Students completing GCSE outline answers must remember that these answers are used as guidance to write much longer pieces. Therefore, a greater number of sources are expected for this type of work than for a general essay.

Grade

A guideline to the grades awarded at GCSE level is as follows:

Grade A – 80% or above
Grade B – 70% – 79%

MLA vs APA Style Formatting

The American Psychological Assocation (APA) and Modern Language Association (MLA) are two common style guides used for writing academic papers. APA is used within social sciences (e.g. psychology, education, sociology). MLA is primarily used in the liberal arts and humanities.

If you are just starting to write papers for college or are a graduate student, your instructors will include the style that is required for assignments in the assignment guidelines. In addition, they may require additional preferences (e.g, a different style to the cover page). Pay attention to these requirements because instructors will remove grade points if a student does not follow the formatting for approved grammatical and citation requirements.

It is recommended (strongly) that students study and learn the requirements of the style early on in their education career and keep updated as different editions are released by MLA (currently 3rd edition) and APA (currently 6th edition). Having a good knowledge of the style will assist the student write more efficiently. Another recommendation is to have the style book by your computer as you work so that you can check punctuation and citations as you write. Highlight the most commonly used punctuation and other information with a highlighter and post-it notes, because the answer surely will come up again.

Both APA http://www.apastyle.org/ and MLA http://www.mla.org/ have Websites and search engines that can help if you have a tough style problem. Also, most colleges have Writing Centers or online tutorials to help you with ensuring that your use of the style guidelines in your academic paper are perfect.

Here are some major differences in the two styles.

Professional Editing
There is another option if you need help with academic writing, especially when you are writing a thesis or submitting a paper for publication. Many editors specialize in academic writing and will offer to edit a paper based on word count or pages and the type of editing required. Academic editing will cost more than a standard edit. These editors are professionals who have a lot of experience editing papers in different style formats. They can provide expertise for the difficult editing issues such as footnotes and endnotes, charts and tables, and citing references.

Download The World Ends With You – Nintendo DS The World Ends With You Can Now Be Downloaded

Current Update: Nintendo DS The World Ends With You can be downloaded in Unlimited Ds Download.

Review taken from ds.ign.com:

Most gamers out there would probably agree that the world of role-playing games has been stuck in a specific rut for quite a while. We’re not talking down on games like Fire Emblem and Advance Wars on DS (RPG-like tactical games), or the still-remarkable Final Fantasy series, but rather the hundreds upon hundreds of RPGs out there that don’t dare to be different. We can understand a few “period piece” role-playing games, but does every story-heavy adventure out there need to revolve around swords, bows, magic, castles, and hoards of monsters emerging from some sort of ultimate evil? It’s fine in moderation – and when done extremely well, games go beyond any preconceptions – but the RPG world could use a little kick in the pants to get it moving, and that’s exactly what The World Ends With You is. Square Enix – more specifically Team Jupiter, the creators of Kingdom Hearts – has challenged every facet of the RPG genre, and the result is one of the best pocket games we’ve played in years, and one of the top DS experiences out there.

More than any other DS title out there we could write volumes on the features and intricacies in The World Ends With You, so while we’ll be covering every aspect in this final review, we urge players that want to know more to check out our latest in-depth hands-on with the game, as it too has a wealth of information to read through.

Where should I download this game?

Six Step Term Paper Writing Guide

There are a few steps to take in order to write a proper term paper. In this article the steps and other tips will be discussed in depth. First, let’s take a look at these steps that should be followed for term paper writing.

Step One: Choosing a subject
Step Two: Finding sources
Step Three: Gathering information
Step Four: Outlining the paper
Step Five: Rough draft
Step Six: Writing and editing

These six steps provide a good template for research paper writing and should be strictly followed. Depending on the level of schooling the research paper is for, this guide can be used from the high school to the college level in most cases.

Choosing a subject
Although coming up with a subject to write about may seem simple, often times students have trouble in this area. The topic needs to fit into the writing assignment, should be something that has many research references, is a subject you are familiar with along with something you are interested in and something very specific. Other things that need to be taken into consideration when choosing a research topic are; overall value of the subject and overall interest of the subject.

Finding sources
Doing all of the necessary research that will be added to your term paper is one of the most import steps. Places where research information can be found are the library, the internet, scholarly and peer review journals, magazines, newspaper articles and even the television can be useful. One of the most overlooked options available to students during research is the one on one interview with people knowledgeable in the writing subject. What better way to gain information could there be aside from talking with someone who knows the subject?

Gathering information
Once all of the research has been done, everything you have obtained needs to be complied. These sources need to be evaluated to determine whether or not they can be used. All information that appears sketchy and/or lacking references needs to be removed. Everything that goes into your research paper needs to contain verifiable sources.

Outlining the paper
This is a simple step by which you create a structure for your research paper. Each section needs to be broken up into specific areas of important points. These points should be thought out and based on the research sources you have gathered.

Rough draft
Once all of the above mentioned steps have been finished, it’s time to begin the actual writing process. A good rule of thumb for writing the rough draft is to create paragraphs based on your brainstorming. Simply by writing down your thoughts based on your research will likely make the final research paper easy to create. If you write your rough draft in a manner that is coherent the last process will go by very quickly.

Writing and editing
The final stage to your research paper is editing and re-writing your rough draft. Spelling, grammatical errors, sources and punctuation all need to be checked and double checked. Make sure ever “t” is crossed and every “i” dotted before you turn your research paper in. No matter how well the other areas of your paper are written, you could still fail to reach your desired results if it isn’t edited properly.

Writing a Research Paper – the Complete Guide!

Now a day’s many students are searching for research paper help from different sources. The first step is to choose a research paper topic of your interest because your approach towards the topic would determine the effort you put in writing your research paper. Teacher authorization is very necessary before beginning a full scale research on the subject. Make sure the research paper topic you selected does not have a constricted range source material.

COLLECTING INFORMATION

Once a research paper topic is selected, start looking for the information on it. Library is the first place you should start searching for your required information. Bibliography of that book can provide you with other books and articles on that topic. Other then the books use internet, magazines, encyclopedias any source of information that help you out in collecting information related to your research paper topic. When gathering the information you should note down the source of all the material you get for writing the bibliography.

PROPER CITATION

After identifying the sources from where you can get the information on the your research paper topic, go through them thoroughly and make notes of the important points stated in them. If your copying direct from the source, put quotation marks on it to evade plagiarism. Keep track of all sources from where you have gathered information. Give numbers or headings to the notes you make so that organizing them wouldn’t be a headache.

MAKING OUTLINES

With all the gathered information its time to organize them and make an outline which in turn will take the shape of the custom research paper. You have to act as a professional research paper writer here. It’s more of a table of content which shows the headings and sub headings and in which order they will be written. Organizing ideas is when you analyze and sort out the wanted material from the unwanted material; make sure the information provided in the research paper is accurate and up to date.

The outline made by organizing the ideas will serve as the foundation for the custom research paper. Now you have to build on the foundation by writing the first draft of the custom research paper. It’s the point when you give your ideas coherence, and give them the shape of a research paper. Any report or custom research paper has three basic divisions. Introduction, body and the conclusion. Introduction should be such which captures the imagination of the reader and generates interest in the topic. Body is where you provide a detailed description of the topic and present you ideas at the same time using quotations and examples to prove you point of view. Following the research paper outline you made, each idea should have a separate paragraph so that the paper does not look stagnant. Use transition words in between the paragraph so that it keeps a smooth flow of the ideas. In conclusion you sum up all the ideas and restate the main idea of the papers.

AVOIDING PLAGIARISM

To avoid plagiarism documenting the source of information is very important. This is done by using footnotes, endnotes and bibliography which is another step all together. Footnotes are written in the end of the same page as the quotation or any other information which is copied and endnotes are written together in the end page before bibliography. Format you chose for writing the footnotes and the endnotes entirely depends on you writing style.

WRITING BIBLIOGRAPHY

Bibliography provides the source of all the information from where it was taken and buries all the doubts of plagiarism. It is provided at the end of the report; it can be either on one page of several pages. As mentioned above it is very important to keep track all sources of information to make it easier to write the bibliography for research paper writers. General format of a bibliography is to provide the title of the book, article or the internet source, author, publisher and the date of publication. Assembling of the bibliography can either be done alphabetically or any other format which is preferred by you or your teacher.

REVISION AND PROOF READING

The draft you first wrote is in very rough and raw form. You would want to polish it before submitting it. Therefore revision and proofreading of research paper is must. Note that revision and proofreading are two different things all together. Revision is where you analyze your work as you did when researching on the topic. Delete what is unnecessary and add where you think the argument presented by you is weak. It’s all about thinking over your ideas once again and editing out all the mistakes made in the first draft. Make other people read it and note out the points which require editing.

CONCLUSION

After all the hard work students tend to get lazy and that is where they lose marks when they don’t check careless mistakes such as grammar, miss spelled words, punctuation and capitalization etc. Instead of searching for how to write a research paper, concentrate on searching material first. Although the material provided by the student is very good but this careless mistake end up dropping their grade therefore do a double check on them and proofread each and very word carefully, because you wouldn’t want such hard work go down the drain just to save a few minutes of work after putting that much effort in writing your research paper.

how to write a letter to your future self

The beginning of a new year often brings resolutions and commitments to the renewed focus and performance. Many of we take the time to think about what else we want to do this year if more work, cleaning our offices, more organized, more or connected with your friends and family. We write and review a list of resolutions for the first two weeks, then it is often lost in the clutter and ends in a drawer. Our intentions are there, but the bustle of life often takes over.

At the age of seven when people ask me what I want to do when I grow up I would say: "I want to wear a suit and a suitcase to take." It was pretty clear to me. Wellness Description not further and detail of my future dream career, it was my vision and I have achieved. Mission accomplished. Now? Written in a sort list things I want to achieve in life was not convincing and motivating me. I had something powerful and important to keep me on track and inspires me to achieve my goals. Instead of writing a list, I decided to use an exercise I do with all my coaching clients. As a course as usual, many of us spend much time creating visions for our organization and department, often several days in a retreat to build consensus and achieve perfect vision. But how many of us take the same amount of time a vision for our own life?

As a coach of executives, one of the first pieces of work I do with my clients, they have in mind is whether how they want their lives to watch a year from now. Through our partnership we work together to give a clear picture of performance and results they work for. I have my clients do this, write a letter to come. This is a draft letter, when they years From now writing. They really take the time to think about what they want to achieve in the next twelve months. The exercise is not not to make a simple list, it is much more restrictive than that. Envisioning really what your life will be like a year from today. Its main what these benefits are and how you. If we start a new year of departure, I challenge you to take some time for the mind your life a year from now.

Here are some tips:

1. Imagine that a year from now and you write to someone you love who want to celebrate your success. Write about what you see playing yourself in your professional and personal life for years to come as they passed.

2. Contact with you and how you feel about your work and private life years from now. Write what comes to mind when you're in this place.

3. The letter of the future model will help you connect with what you really want to achieve in your life. Areas process are:

  • Another thing that is important for you and your professional or personal life.

4. This letter is usually about two pages, but there is no limit. Write what comes to mind for you.

5. After writing your first draft, and again the letter a few days later. Make some adjustments to the letter.
