I have to write a small article in the school newspaper on OSAID and awareness and joining and stuff
anyway i’m really excited i just don’t know where to start and i was hoping to have some ideas and i also don’t really want to make it all that sad or scary and its teenagers i’m writting to so i’m looking for witty, and interesting with a ‘can’t stop reading’ vibe

Then you could choose to do a topic on the Nintendo Wii, because people are going to want to read about it.
There are tons of different ways to get inspired, but the main thing that you have to remember is to not force yourself to write about something that you are not into. When you do, it will show in your work. People are not going to want to read articles that are not entertaining. If they are reading about this topic, that means that they are into it, and it usually helps if the writer is into as well.

I’m critiquing TWO articles and need to write my thesis (1st paragraph) but I suck with intros and conclusions.
How do you start a thesis talking about 2 articles? I could have done with one…but two is new to me. I’m a college freshman.

How to personalize an article written in the third-person?
I wrote an article about teaching English in Korea and my editor asked me to personalize it a bit. How can I do that when the article is written in the third-person. Can I just add a few paragraphs in the first person at the end? Does the entire article have to be changed into the first person?

This question is difficult to answer without being able to read the article. You could post the article online here http://www.hotmake.info so people can read it and give you better advice.
Otherwise third person articles general are not personal because you can depict and describe emotions and details deeply because the 3rd person is just the narrator.
So i would either try to give some detail from the 3rd persons fealings or from 1st person as how the 3rd person percieves it.

How about an article discussing the advantages of teaching children at school basic car maintenance and roadcraft bearing in mind that a high percentage of them will become owner/drivers of vehicles in adulthood. Whereas, teaching them other crafts, e.g. woodcraft or metalwork will only be of use to a much smaller percentage of pupils in later life.

Yes, guys get like this too!! I’ve read that I shouldn’t act until the semester is over, and I don’t like writing emails or texting. She told us on the first day of class she was single, and later she met a guy but he ditched out on her for Valentine’s Day. I think we’re similar in age (by the jokes and references she makes that no one gets but me), which is late 20′s, early 30′s.During lecture, I can’t take my eyes off of her! It’s an evening class where I try to make dynamic conversation for a few minutes after session ends. At times, she tells the girls to “watch out, you may want a guy to walk you to your car. I’ve had many shady instances on campus…”, but I feel I can’t offer that “service” as a student. I want to talk to her more, and share stories. What you have read/heard is right on – wait until the semester ends. If you don’t, you will put your dear professor into a bad situation. Any grades you earn will be in question if you make her privy to your feelings. Wait until the business of the course is done before you change the tone of your dealings with one another.
Offering to walk the lady to her car does not have to be a romantic gesture. Showing some chivalry will go a long way, and it may open the door for a successful approach after your class ends (you know, when you have a chance to say something that is not class-related to her).
