FORWARD
The 188 stage Hero's Journey (Mono myth) is the model on which the vast majority of success stories and Hollywood movies are based on. In fact, all of the hundreds of Hollywood movies we have deconstructed (see URL below) are based on the stage of 188 + pattern.
Understanding this template is a priority for story or screenwriters. This is the template you must master if you want to succeed in the container.
[The terminology is often metaphoric and applies to all success stories and scenarios, of The Godfather (1972), Brokeback Mountain (2006) to Annie Hall (1977) Lord of the Rings (2003) to Drugstore Cowboy (1989) to Thelma and Louise (1991) Apocalypse Now (1979)].
Is it just a story
The 188 STAGE HERO's Journey:
a) Attempts to tap into unconscious expectations of the public on what a story and how it should be said.
b) gives the writer more structural elements three or four acts, plot points, mid and so on.
c) gives you a tangible process for building and releasing dissonance (establishing and achieving catharsis which usually four).
d) You tell him what to write. Example at a certain stage of history should focus on the demand of the adventure and micro-elements inside.

Conscious Decision ***** *****
The conscious decision (almost an acceptance of the inevitability of Travel and Transformation) is a very common element of successful examples and scenarios. In Brokeback Mountain (2005), Jack tells Ennis Hello, they will spend time on the mountain all but inevitable.
Back Story ***** *****
Before traveling to the first threshold, some Backstory is not unusual. In Brokeback Mountain (2005), Ennis and Jack talk at the bar.
